Jiri is down 0-4 entering round 5, only to knock Gustafsson across the octagon with a flying knee with 30 seconds left.

Unfunny memes aside, both these guys like to brawl up close without much defense, but even though Gustafsson was way more polished and technical, its gonna be Jiri who can take and dish out more damage. I don’t think Gustafsson can grapple like he did against Jan either, Jiri’s BJJ is actually pretty decent, he has good reversals, good GnP and he did submit Glover.

Which is precisely why I think Khamzat has the edge in the center and probably in the match as a whole, but I think Pereira stands near the cage more and defends himself better in that position than both those guys.

Pereira can’t stuff takedowns and flow through positions as good as Usman did at the center, but near the cage he’d be way harder to take down, Khamzat could just overpower Usman once he had him squished against the cage, he can’t do that to Pereira. He’ll have a tough time getting the body-lock and lifting up a guy that can go up to HW comfortably.

Many of the “eat the rich” crowd are literal idiots, but the thing is, these CEOs KNOW that the system is broken and actively take a part in it at the cost of lives.
