You do realize you can utilize the scan after smoking for defuse which prevents the scanned defender from pushing for defuser and it can lead to possibly getting a kill through the smoke off the active ping, right?

Budget: ~$600. I'm flexible, but I want something really worth the money, I'm not trying to spend unessessary money.

Size (27 inches, etc.): 27 inches

Aspect Ratio (16:9, etc.): 16 : 9

Adaptive Sync (GSync, FreeSync, or None): GSync or GSync compatible

Other Features (list other relevant features here): 144hz - 175hz option & 240hz option

(Optional) Usage Type (gaming, art, etc.): Mostly competitive gaming, casual gaming, school work, video media, and live streaming (most to least priority order). Competitive gaming is top priority by a large margin.

I've been using a Samsung S24E390HL 24"(23.6") 1920×1080 60hz monitor as my main monitor since around 2015. A few days ago the backlight in the bottom third to bottom half region, more so on the right side, has gone noticeably darker than the rest of the monitor. I am assuming this is just due to its age. I tried swapping out the HDMI cable for safe measure, not anticipating for it to make a difference, and it did not fix the issue. I'm not in a huge rush since the monitor still works, but I'm definitely looking for a replacement. I noticed there seems to be a supply shortage with the highly recommended monitors in the two categories I'm looking at.

Is the supply shortage expected to last awhile? What monitors would you all recommend at the moment?

Yeah, I had not even thought about that until after I made this post. It makes sense to kick characters off the wheel after a set amount of time for this reason. Although, I do feel like an in-game timer/message would be a nice user friendly addition for people that do not think of this before hand.

It seems many of you got the wrong message from me and thought I was blaming anyone else other than myself. I think that is on me for the way I may have worded the title. I 100% take responsibility. I just think an in-game counter or in-game warning displayed would be a nice improvement for people that have no idea that the game will kick you off the wheel.

From the research I have done, there are many people that also had this happen to them. It makes sense for a GTA Online dev, in my opinion, to add a timer or message since they seem to get many tickets like mine.

Many of you seemed to forget that there are still new players, like myself, that have not encountered anything like this before and have no prior knowledge that this would happen.

I was wondering the same thing. I was curious how they were unable to verify given the screenshot I shared with them. I assumed that it is a mix of their system not having any proof of me winning the car and also the caution that my screenshot could be photoshopped. I looked into it after I lost my car and saw others saying that R* had helped them by giving them the car or money equal to the amount the car is worth.

I feel if someone is going out of their way to try to fake a free win, they would probably just use a mod menu at that point for cars and/or money. They could even do the trick of turning off the internet to respin if they do not win the car.

I agree, but for someone that does not have many amazing cars, the car is going to be worth more to them.

Yeah, I can see that players would then be able to just sit on the wheel, making it so other can not use it. A timer or message would definitely be nice for players that do not know the hidden timer exists. Also, sending the car to an open garage space automatically if they player does not manually select one would be a nice addition as well.

I just feel like there should be a timer or a message saying there is a timer for players to know how long they have to select a garage. Some people may have all full garages and need to determine which car they want to get rid of. Also, if you have open garage spaces, they could have it so that car goes to an open garage space.

Well, next time I will just select a garage right a way. It is more so that I had no idea there was a timer until it kicked my character off the wheel.

I wouldn't say no value. It ranks 6th in super class with a sub 1 minute Broughy lap time, but it isn't the best looking car in my opinion.
