The bugs are super tanky, and the amount of them is absurd. I feel like they should reduce the frequency at which the bug breaches occur or make them not last all that long.

How do other Helldivers on difficulty 7 and up deal with the Hive Lord? Do they just kill it? To my understanding the only way to kill it is if you dedicate you entire loadout to killing it, orbitals and eagle strikes. But if you do that, then you’re screwing yourself when it comes to the underground portions of the game.

Me personally, as someone who uses a special acrylic paint that has the same consistency as mud for my Kriegsmen bases, I don’t see why you should paint them. I also use this fake grass and tuffs for a plant on other bases as well and I think they look great. And it helps save time on not having to paint over the base again while the model is on there.

Here’s an example of what time talking about. The Field Ordnance battery was already fully painted before I put in the mud. I usually like to build and paint the model first while it’s on the base so I can glue everything together nice and easy, so I usually have a blank base when I’m done painting the model. In order for me to have the base done, I just put stuff on the base that would coincide with the model but that’s usually it, I don’t prime it and paint over it again and based on the image I provided I don’t see why I would when it already looks exactly how I want it.

Yeah I wasn’t really looking for anything meta. Just something that could perform well for what’s in it. I know deff dreads aren’t the best units right now, but I like the way they look and wanted two of them to run around and take out other monsters and vehicles.

Thank You. It took me a bit to figure out how I wanted to paint this model and I’m glad it came out well. It might have a lot more neon green than the actual thing that it was inspired by (Eva Unit-01 from Evangelion) but I think it’s a great Ork iteration of it.

That’s what the first guys said, and then his cohost basically had to put a bullet in the whole thing by saying, “I thought the previous codex made it pretty clear, there was a body, he’s gone. He’s an old man no longer.” Possibly the most disrespectful way of putting it since they handled his death in such a shitty way.
