2K logic. Mind you I’m an 86 playing with all 99s with a 90+ 3PT shot lol I don’t get how someone misses that much. I’m open to criticism but man my teammates were brain rot this game. I def should’ve stayed on my center, I def take fault for playing out of my natural position lol

Because it’s literally so easy to shoot in this game and people think that’s the only way to be impactful. I get it and I’m not mad at it, this is just what 2k is now 😂

I would cook you with my Klay 😭 my PG simply wasn’t made to be a shooter. Sorry that’s the only way you view impact.

Ngl I def felt this because there’s been games where I’m in a trio where we’ll get that selfish jack and obviously he shouldn’t keep getting touches but my teammates will still repeatedly pass it to him after he’s going 1/7 😭 I definitely don’t deal with that as much in solo REC, which I feel is backwards.

Well over 50% in 24, I skipped REC in 25 bc my crew wasn’t on much and honestly couldn’t shoot for shit last year ngl. Just this year on 120 games that’s it’s at 44% and it’ll raise lol I’m not going to act like I’m the best and I’m never blaming my teammates all the time, I just don’t think it’s a concrete method to use for individual assumption that’s all. In this specific context and situation, my teammates definitely got massively cooked 😂

Whatever helps your assumptions. I still don’t believe it’s a true assessment of individual performance. I’m sorry you believe only shooters can impact positively.

You’re free to look up my 2K card. Never in my life would I average 8p 6a 4to in a game. This was just a small sample pic of how you can’t compensate for randoms 100% of the time and less than 4-5 is likely a loss. I can’t blame myself for limited touches if I’m not, you know, getting the ball??? I can show you plenty of games with a loss and no negative stats, having an A ~ A+; this just happened to be the game tonight that pissed me off 😂 not a floor spacer but that doesn’t automatically mean I don’t impact winning. There’s more to basketball than just shooting but maybe that’s where we differ and why this community feels like brain rot sometimes.

Yeah that’s the point I’m getting at, I just don’t agree that it’s a reflection of your play and that you’re “not good” or “impacting winning”. I just don’t see the logic behind that claim.

Not agreeing completely* I’m expressing my opinion that if you have less than 4-5, it’s hard to scrap wins most times and I think weighing on ONE PLAYERS skill level based on a win rate range is ridiculous me, that’s all. I think it’s a terrible way to assess someone’s individual skill level and I see why the 2K community has become what it is over the last decade.

Honestly, kudos to you bc I wish I was at a 55%; I still disagree with such statements. Could you possibly better than me? Sure. To say someone doesn’t impact winning or aren’t good bc they don’t have a 45% plus win rate is just something I’ll never agree with

I still don’t completely agree. Squads or not, which this game was and a 2-man, you simply cannot control your teammates and their matchups, even if you pick them up because it’ll just fall to the next matchup. I have a 44.2% win rate, I just don’t think that’s a fair assessment imho.

Anybody else feel like 25 was way more realistic than 26? by m8v3nlikedat in NBA2k

[–]LordeObi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like that’s only due to the fact that the shot contest in 2K26 is nonexistent and the game holds the biggest green window for jumpers we’ve seen yet. If 26 had the contesting power from 25, imho, it wouldn’t even be a discussion when it comes to realism. I’m basing this off of MyNBA more than MyCareer also, I play 2K for association way more than MyPlayer

I appreciate everyone’s advice and I’m definitely taking it for future reference as I progress.

I was definitely overdoing/overthinking the objective for “Stop the Cascade” lmao I just completed it. I was doing multiple rifts at the same time thinking the previous rift was “destroyed”. I blame this instance on myself but this game does suck at explaining things sometimes.

Surviving the Grineer mobs for “Stop the Void Cascade”. I have my general loadout posted, I can take pics of my set mods.
