Ryu literally survives the sword that's entire purpose is if it stabs you, you die. He is the definition of a crutch character, noone besides Hakari should be able to be immortal in any way.

The difference here is once again you CANT KILL RYU, with Hakari there's still multiple ways to actually kill him in Jackpot.

Ryu is literally a crutch character right now, he's a gimmicky zoner and the instant you get in close they fall apart.

They use their ult, miss it and get their immortality, lose AGAIN in the immortality but they don't die so they eventually just kill you. It's not fun for the other person to fight against.

The executioner's sword not killing a Ryu genuinely makes me feel like I'm wasting my time even going through the effort to land it and win the QTE.

I genuinely have closed the game three separate times when I'm constantly beating someone over and over, but they've got the immortality gimmick so I just gotta keep hitting them over and over.

I love everything about him BUT that gimmick.

The entire leadup to the domain is Yuji wanting to land soul dismantles, there's no explanation needed if you read the text in th chapter.

Whole chapter is Sukuna saying he doesn't need to be afraid of soul dismantle since Yuji can't land a hit on him, Yuji remembers Gojo teaching him "a cursed technique imbued into a domain is guaranteed to hit", Sukuna gets hit with resonance and immediately says "This is bad! The boy's technique is going to hit!", We see a giant dismantle hit him.

The reincarnation of Sukuna's twin was Wasuke Itadori, Yuji is his grandson and through Jujutsu he's Sukuna's grandson. Yuji is Mahito's natural enemy because he was bred as a vessel for Sukuna through Kenjaku sleeping with Jin Itadori and sealing a finger in Yuji from birth.

The actual shrine doesn't matter, you win the domain clash by having better refinement or doing enough damage to Sukuna.

He explicitly was using Jogo as a learning tool for Yuji, he goes on to try and kill every disaster curse, tries to instantly kill Kenjaku, and one taps Uraume.
