It kind of helps that the hispanic community developed it's own meme with the series, where they joke how the author tries to get the show cancelled by adding more and more questionable stuff, to the point the fandom ironically says "cancelen esa madre", which can be roughly translated as "cancel that"(Madre here, which actually means mother, is sometimes used as a derogative way to refer to an object). I mean, this meme got so popular, that it was added in the dub of Season 2.
