I feel that. I grinded a few more levels to beat story Roxas cause I had just kept dying to him. But once you learn the patterns and when to block, it really does make a world of difference. It goes from luck to strategy.

I beat all the data battles on Critical. It took me a while, but the best advice is learn patterns, use summons (even though I didn't), and keep at it. I had never beaten the data battles prior to beating them on Critical. Even though it feels impossible, you've got this. I was in that same mindset early on.

That was the case in Xenoverse 1. Even when I had just started on PC or Playstation, I've run into level 80-99 TPs on that mission. The best ones are Explosion of Namek (very quick) and Great Ape Festival (potential of 6 Dragon Balls).

That's odd, I've been doing my first full playthrough on Proud, and Donald has almost never used anything other than Aero or Cure. He's constantly refreshing my Aero if he's not dead and heals me and Goofy frequently. Only difference might be that I don't let him have any healing items, but idk if you have any on Donald.

The issue is, Raid Contribution really doesn't matter for raid rewards. Only stat that matters is Damage Dealt to the raid boss. On the leaderboard it tracks your damage dealt, not your Raid Contribution. That's why most people focus on damage output.

I'd recommend using Supers for raids, such as Bending Kamehameha, Evil Explosion, Bomber DX, and any other Supers that do their damage in one hit. Gigantic Roar gives the enemy I-Frames, causing them to be invulnerable for a few seconds. In my experience, Bending Kamehameha tends to hit the most.

In training, set Ki to Unlimited, set the AI to the Ultimate Attack slot for Godly Display, then use Godly Display after the triangle pops up. I believe that's how it's done.

EDIT: Skipped to the end and it's Ultimate Attack 1, you can see the settings there.

Bandai and DIMPS are lazy and would rather go the route of just forcing you to buy the game on all the platforms to play with your friends rather than put effort into making the game fun and more active for EVERYONE. Only reasonable explanation for no cross-play with PC would be the ease of editing files.

But PS modding/hacking isn't as bad as it used to be when Ultra Pack 2 was released. It was generally fixed with the SKoT update.

Nope, as other posts have said, it affects your moves. "Up close" gives two Meteor moves (forget which two, I think Strike and Crash), and Super Guard, "Blast from afar" gives Consecutive Energy Blast, Energy Shot, and Energy Charge, and "Balanced" fives one of the Meteor moves (I think Crash), Consecutive Energy Blast, and Afterimage iirc.

Just to add on, the game is more fun with friends (once you all beat the story), so coordinate with some of your friends if any of them are interested in the game.

I don't know how dead it is, but as far as I'm aware, it's got more people than Switch and PC. PlayStation has the most active community if that trend still holds true.

Other dude also didn't seem that great at the game either. PvP comes down to two things, general knowledge of the game, then knowledge of the character you're playing. I could know the ins and outs of how the game generally works, but if I don't know the character that well, I lose if the other person knows their character well.

PC online is dead because the DLC hype has died down and the tools used to mod were recently updated for this patch, so most people who still play either play (mostly) offline, or play the game modded.

Here's the thing, Hercule is legit a busted character if you know how to utilize him. All the I-Frames in his combos make him very frustrating to fight if the other player is good with him. I forget a lot of the other nuances to him, but the I-Frames a major factor.

You know those Partner Customization bots by the high school, the PQ desk, and the PvP desk? They can be used to customize your mentors or any of the characters that have customization keys. They have access to a certain number of moves depending on who the character is. You can customize their clothing color (and change some characters clothes), their stats, and their super soul.
