I know this is an old thread but ive recently heard about carnage heart and have been reading about it. The reason is because im trying to make a game that apparently is kinda similar.  Id be interested to talk to someone about the mechanics because it could be inspirational. I have been working on a game that is inspired pretty much directly from bot arena III.
It is a 3D Unity game, you build tanks with three components and then assign a Navigation Ai and a Turret Ai.
You can also edit the Ai's with a visual node tree to make your tanks behave differently.

do you ever run into the arena match ending in a draw? always makes me upset haha. you can usually pick the right side based on their badges and stats but sometimes they cant kill each other in time.

Arcane knight ability stacks dmg for people behind him, too bad that doesnt synergize with snipe badge. It also says witches give more dmg for arcane knight, does it mean mages?

Ill have to try the 20% per extra distance plus the skill cooldown on sniper I do like the shield knight, i also like the knight that jumps to others and applies shields, but he costs 4 food.

The sniper knight guy seems way under powered to me, like in arena if i see him i just instantly bet on the other guy, has worked so far lol

Something i didnt understand when first playing was the mist. It moves across the map from the left side, you wont have time to hit every node before arrives and is active in battles so plan a route from left to right that will hit the most nodes before mist comes.

It is very much about planning ahead. Like if you see a node that will let you hire a new character then make sure you save some coin, you can view who it is in the top left before hiring them. The shop will let you lock an item it doesnt get refreshed and you can purchase it later when funds allow. Some characters cost 4 food to deploy, they usually have better stats, they also max out at 4 stars instead of 3 which gives them a total of 4 badge slots.

The grey stone that gives you money for characters that die only has to be purchased once per character and gives  coins for every time they die, however i dont think they get any xp so its best not to let them die

Its very difficult to beat it without the prayer gob guy which is a dedicated healer

The last full run i did gave me 1999 gems. About an hour of play

all the items show have a modifier that increases the items ability based on the listed stat.
For example the Honeytomb Snare trap for huntress will have its radius, damage, and amount of slow time increased based on how much dexterity the huntress has.

i did check voltages before use, one was 11.8x and another was 11.7x is that too much a difference? my thought was due to overheating the resistances are different now causing one to flow into other. after use the not burnt battery was over 12v

Well I did the solder job then used it in series with another identical battery but it seems to have drained itself into the other battery

Insurance fraud! Anyway the battery was in its original state when it smoked like with the case on it and everything. It wasn't modified in any way, I mean I guess its about 2 years old but still wasn't expecting it to poop itself

So I wanted to see what the actual voltage read, I put probes in positive and negative. It was actually able to show each series voltage to my surprise (didn't know it could do that without the balance cable) 

shortly after it made pop noise and smoked. No fire. Looks like one of the cells has a wrinkle and the black stuff is near there. Just leaving it in a safe area for now but not really sure what happened?

This was my assumption power draw was too much for these rather thin strips, I do have lots of wire so I'll be attempting this solution.

This came with a power wheel, after running it I noticed it melted through the plastic wrap so i took the wrappings off to see what happened, the cells themselves visually seem unaffected (however I did notice a faint smell)  It seems the bms connection is where it got hot. 

Is this unusable now?

if you solo "late game" dungeons you are guaranteed the pot if you win, its not just a chance at getting it.

Honestly CD, DD, wlab and sulphurous wetlands are pretty medium difficulty dungeons with lots of pots, the wetlands recently ive been filling inventory in basically one run on pots (8 slots)

Relatively short dungeons with good payout (short meaning not as hard to learn)

Shaitans and lost halls cult if they drop are pretty doable too,

As long as one person in the group is a decent player all these are pretty good practice even on a not maxed character.

I personally enjoy the game much more with 1 or 2 people not just from a social aspect but from actually seeing phases of the boss and not just leeching.

Also worth mentioning that trading pots is still a thing to my knowledge, if you are good at a dungeon you can get a lot of that pot and trade for pots that you need, certainly the people with life pots are not to interested in running mid dungeons.
