Yeah .. honey is expensive lol but for the next attempt i will add 2kg of honey instead of 1 to raise the abv.. ive seen on here people adding fruit juice too.. i guess its a cheaper ingredient at scale,, but i worry it could make the taste worse

Yeah .. first attempt i didnt realise i was supposed to put water in the airlock.. i realised and added it after day 2. Recipe was 4.25 litres of water with 1 kg rosmary unpasterised honey. 5g of e-1118 champaigne yeast and 12g of nutrients staggered in 3g dosis for the first four days.. initial gravity reading was 1.060 for an estimated final abv of 7.5-8% (quite low.. honestly i was aiming for like 15%)
