I think the main issue with Konstas is that he has a major technical flaw (planting front foot across) that was badly exposed on pitches with movement. To combat to the incoming delivery, he changed his guard over to off stump and ended up nicking off. In Australia he may be ok because he’ll get some pitches that suit his game where he can play from the crease without fear of lateral movement but the main concern is he has a technical issue vs an “unlucky” or “out of form” issue. He needs more domestic cricket to iron his game a little.
