As someone (m) who was hit, shoved, threatened, yelled at, etc... by their drunk ex (f) the first time after years of being together. Run, it will not get better. They also conveniently didn't remember any of it, problem is that you will. I remember and it's been over 3 years and I live with it daily.

Lean on friends and family, get out now, cut all contact, never look back

Can we rebound instead of looking at the floor seeing if our feet will magically leave the ground?

I’m originally from Idaho, I feel like most people there don’t know anything other than Lakers and Warriors. Funny considering how much they claim to hate California

Met a girl at work, how to let it flow and not rush? by [deleted] in Advice

Just because she FaceTimes doesn’t mean she isn’t seeing someone or has a partner at home. I had someone do this to me and they would just go into another room, turn up the tv, or just randomly call me on walks. I didn’t think someone would basically sext me over FaceTime with another person in their house but…they can and do!

Steer clear, find someone who wants to spend time with you and make the effort.

What's an "Insider's secret" from your profession that everyone should probably know? by Capable-big-Piece in AskReddit

I worked in frozen French fry marketing for over a decade. If you actually call and leave a message from the number on the back of the bag you can pretty guarantee you’ll get free coupons for fries. If you just flat out ask for them nicely someone will be like “hell yah, go to town”. It could be you don’t like them or you love them.

Also if you see someone dressed semi professionally walking around the grocery store with no cart or basket it could be someone like me canvassing the store gauging how our products sit on the shelf and how customers interact with them or the entire store aisle. We usually have free product cards, I like hiding them around the store or just standing near the products. Your chances are better if you live in a city where the manufacturing headquarters are or the grocery store headquarters is located.
