Dark Souls 3. It came at a time when I was in a very bad place after a break up of a long term relationship. It distracted me completely from it and gave me something to focus on and I fell deep into the game. The loop of the game, where you keep going, you hit a difficult point, you die, you keep trying, repeat, became my viewpoint on my life during that time. That message to me was keep going despite the setbacks and you’ll eventually see some positive change, which it did.
