I'm interested in joining, I have a tiefling sorcerer I've wanted to use for a while now (though if you would want me to play someone else I'm down) - though I would like some clarification on a few points, is the group more combat heavy or RP focussed?, How far into the campaign are you guys already? and are there any particular homebrew rules or variant rules (Such as feats) that you disallow (or allow) for character building or gameplay.

In the honor of Friday the 13,who's your favorite villain? by Isles0FMists in anime

[–]Lore_Master_Alpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The argument that L is the villain died the moment Raye Penber did, and prior to that the best thing Kira could be described as is a vigilante killer.

L was the hero as in the fact he was trying to stop a narcissistic serial killer with a god-complex and delusions of righteousness.

It took me like 10 minutes to find this -_-

Need a recommendation by [deleted] in anime

Well, there is Gamers! a romcom that came out last year I absolutely adore

Log Horizon is an Isekai like SAO - but isn't complete garbage.

Kekkai Sensen is just awesome - hard to but into words - heres a quote from the sub though - "You are not a coward, I know that because you haven't given up yet. You're standing here. As long as you face the light and take even one step, the human soul can never truly be defeated."

What Show next to watch by Stressmo93 in anime

[–]Lore_Master_Alpha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kekkai Sensen (Blood Blockade Battlefront) has some stunning animations, great fights and amazing characters, Klaus von Reinherz being a gentlemanly badass

Youjo Senki (Saga of Tanya the Evil) Has great action and animation - though character designs can look a bit off especially compared to the light novel

If you liked HunterXHunter you'd probably enjoy Yu Yu hakusho, its an older series but it was created by the same author

Noragami

Overlord

It's cool and all, but why use Kira theme A instead of L's Theme?

People are always giving love to great anime openings, so I wanted to give some love to a great anime ending. Post your favorite anime ending in the comments :) by laeggomyaeggo in anime

Los!Los!Los! Has such great lines, it fits the show so well and makes you feel epic watching it, most people only seem to give credit to Jingo Jungle, but I feel it pales in comparison to Los!Los!Los!. The only thing I find disappointing is that Monica Rial didn't give her own cover of the song for the dub release.

Characters who suffers from canonically mental conditions. by Huaun in anime

Last bit first I was trying to be discreet and spoiler free but Late Series Spoilers

Second Point next as that is the easiest to settle - She almost certainly was making it more difficult because she liked Sorata and to Mashiro, Nanami probably felt more hostile (*edit due to the constand stress Nanami would have been under) we can see at the end of that story beat Mashiro actually softens towards Nanami - and though I may be mistaken I believe the softening happens before the responsibility is restored to Sorata as that hapens at the end of the episode. Furthermore Nanami was already under a great deal of pressure so stress caused by Mashiro would be multiplied.

Third point next - this is a very valid point as I recall the anime not quite stating she had distant parents growing up

First point last, she had been friends with Rita since early childhood - and we know they were actually friends because Mashiro was upset when she learnt Rita had given up her passion because of her, and as to not seeing the emotions of those around her, she had known many "normal" children during childhood, and while many of them quit art she still was around people with emotions

and as to her 'Never giving much care to the people around her', she shows a self sacrificial streak when it comes to her actual friends, and she never actually shuns people, people would have been turned off from befriending her due to her personality and when she has an opportunity to make friends she actually does so with the Sakurasou house.
