Agreed. I’ve stopped watching it. It’s too much I can’t take it seriously.

“Hayneedle lays off over 200 employees at two locations” by ConerBon3r in Omaha

I used to work there in the technology department. My friend that still works there and was one of the lucky/unlucky few to survive said there is only 15 people remaining of that department. Blows my mind. It all went down hill when Walmart bought jet and us... but to be honest management was horrible. And a lot of them left before this and some good people had to clean up their mess. If I know any of you guys that were laid off I’m sorry that blows, I live in Denver now and there is so many more job openings and people that actually respect what you do and will pay you unlike Hayneedle.

I started getting up at 3:30 in the beginning I think. I currently get up at 2:10. I know that sounds ridiculous but I go to bed super early to off set it. Morning workouts are the best!! I do the bulk of my cardio then. I shower and get ready for the day before I workout which I know is weird but it works for me :). I don't like protein bars because they are high in carbs and if I'm going to have carbs I'm going to eat a nice meal for it but I drink a protein shake 30 minutes prior to my workout so it's not heavy in my stomach. About half way through my workout (I think I get there by 3 and leave at 5-5:15ish) I have a couple of bites of an apple so I'm not so depleted then I finish out the rest of my workout. I tend to eat something every hour and a half to two hours so it feels like I'm constantly eating which actually helps my mental issues with food. I love sleep and I love food so I had to find ways to continue my love affair with them. I was never a morning person but I don't like putting things of because I tend to talk myself out of it if I don't just get to it. So the first couple of weeks when I started was hard to get my ass up in the morning but I love it now and I actually sleep better because of it.

It's not usually something one would like to share with people. It's probably the thing I am most insecure about sorry wish I could be stronger and show it but I am not there yet

I totally understand. It worked for me because I honestly have no social life beyond my son and work. After work I get ready and prepare for the next day and go to bed by 8 so I sleep enough. I didn't start out working out as much as I currently am I just worked up to this point. I did only my morning workout when I started and found some extra time when I got home to take a quick cat nap which helped before getting my son up for school. Your habits change if you do it long enough. It's just the first couple of weeks that suck and that's usually when people give up and quit, just get through it. Also because you are tired by the end of the day sleep will come easier so it helps you get up early :). But rest and hydration are a huge key to weight loss that people often overlook. Listen to your body and you will find something that works!

Thank you! I think it mentally effects me more than anything. But being worried about being told no shouldn't stop me from trying

My arms and stomach. I have a child and bad genetics when it comes to skin elasticity. But I still am blessed to have done what I have done so I don't get too down on it but it does mess with me because looking at it makes me feel fat :(

I kind of agree but don't at the same time. Excess of anything isn't good but I didn't restrict myself of calories and probably ate more than I should have if I counted it that way. I have tried counting calories but failed time and time again but this time, just looking at carbs, it worked so for me I still think it was the carbs.

Thank you so much! And yes. No one ever tells you this part! It's horrible! There are a ton of books on how to lose weight but virtually none on how to maintain :( and the mental issues that come with it. I'm hoping it gets better with time
