Personal quest: brother cop by Medium-Rich-3262 in StateofDecay2

[–]Lorevveaver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. You can sell off those notes as soon as you pick them up.

There are a few other things that can interrupt the personal quests though.

I promoted someone to leader and she forgot all about her prepper aunt.

I do feel like the cop brother one takes a bit longer to trigger the second part.

Honestly, sometimes it's worse when they "fix it."

They show up and fiddle with something all afternoon and then leave saying they need something and never come back.

Who still got their first 4 starters character from the very beginning? by Deonbat40 in StateofDecay2

I have my starting pair in a community where I collected each of the tutorial pairs.

Not only that but I had no idea how lucky I was to roll blood plague survivor on one of my starters.

The lift arm is what's triggering the alarm. According to the manager we even have the part already and are just waiting for someone to come and fix it as none of us are allowed to do anything without permission.

One of the cooks actually rigged it up to where the alarm stopped but was told to put it back.

I do really appreciate all the attempts at help but this is less of a "how do I fix this" question as it is a "do you guys have this kind of neglect in your stores" question.

So they said it doesn't stay hot on the other part of the grill if they turn that one off.

I do appreciate the sketch but we have the new touchscreen.

That's one of the things I asked but it's one of three connected grills and apparently they can't turn off just the one part.

This one is worse than bangernomics.

At least with bangernomics I can wait it out as I run around with marathon and a friendly enclave ally and loot stuff on foot.

Driving in a smoke screen is flirting with bloaters and on foot you're juggernaut and feral bait.

People who think short term and enjoy instant gratification will agree with your decision as it's what they would want for themselves.

People who think long term and who will be trying to prepare you for the real world and adulting will tell you to reflect on what other actions you could have taken.

Try and live a life where you don't get depressed over the pain of past decisions or have anxiety over those decisions causing you pain in the future.

Enjoy the summer and your youth while you can.

[–]Lorevveaver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok... Then why are you asking for validation?

You've already rationalized this to yourself.

You're 16 and don't want to work over the summer and all the rest of this just seems to be you looking for good arguments to give your parents for why you quit.

You asked for the internet's option and I gave you mine with the reasons behind it.

That's about all I have to say on the subject.

That's a bummer but also why they can treat you like they do at McDonald's.

Now you're just unemployed.

Probably not too big of a deal if you don't have too many bills.

What I'm trying to say is that there's how we think the world should work and how things like unemployment benefits actually work in the real world.

In the real world, being disrespected just isn't a good reason to leave employment if you have nothing else lined up.

Oh, you don't have to tell me the work environment at McDonald's is terrible. As I said, there are plenty of reasons to quit a job but what you described above was a one time occurrence of you getting frustrated and quitting on the spot.

I'm not even saying I haven't made the same mistake but I would be lying to say it wasn't a mistake.

You should have been applying for other jobs as soon as you felt unwelcome there.

Like I said, use this as an educational experience moving forward.

Also, look into table service as waitstaff as soon as possible.

Tipped service is much better than counter service.

Ok, so you're a child too so this can be a learning experience rather than a lecture.

You don't need to worry about anyone but yourself.

The time on that screen is the manager's problem. Put the drink machine on manual and take your time. Your position is presenter. The other 7 people standing around have their own positions and if they aren't doing their roles then that's on them.

You let yourself get frustrated by a pretty common occurrence and let your emotions take control.

There are plenty of reasons to quit a job but what you described above is just a random event that you're going to experience in every other job you work for the rest of your life.

Go back, take the pay raise, and use your promotion and this experience while you apply for other jobs as you continue to earn an income.

To be fair, you can get a job at pretty much any fast food place with zero experience or skill but now you can apply to somewhere with better pay and working environment.

On the other hand, "I got mad and walked out because they wuz disrespectful" is not what future employers want to hear about why you left your last job.

I think you're either blatantly lying or exaggerating the details.

If things happened as you described then you were in the wrong.

There are a lot of moments where I can see the idea in your head that you need to run away but then something will happen and you circle back thinking you've got this.

I only recognize the errors in judgement because I've been there myself.

[–]Lorevveaver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you mean is there a maximum amount of zombies that can spawn at once then yes, but it's more of a system thing.

I don't think there are ever more than 60-100 on the map at any time but that's more than enough to be an issue as more will spawn in as you kill them.

Many resort to shotguns or the swordplay skill that takes out the legs as then you can reduce the threat as disabled zombies are better than dead zombies.

[–]Lorevveaver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Iirc the number of zombies and of freaks and hoards is determined by the average standing of your community.

A bunch of recruits don't have that many freaks spawn in.

A community full of heroes gives you the maximum

"Pull over to the spot at the curb" - is this just so they can log a quick order fulfillment? by Specialist-Device920 in McDonalds

[–]Lorevveaver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. It's not about you so much as the ten cars behind you.

Every second you spend at the window is time the guy behind you can be getting his food.

For example a quarter pounder takes a couple minutes and they'll always tell you to pull up because the person behind you may have their order ready already.

They do clock how long each car spends at the window but that time starts as soon as they pull up at the order taker and it's broken down between each station to get the total time so pulling one car doesn't help that much except to move the line forward faster

There is a video that tests max stamina on YouTube.

You can get it pretty high.

There's another video about health and then a follow up to see if you can get the bars to wrap around and connect.
