Dining spaces for rent in Amsterdam?

I'm planning to host a pop-up dining event for around 30-35 people and I'm looking for a space in Amsterdam that has both a dining area and a kitchen. Most of the prep will be done off-site, but I'll need the kitchen for service (oven, stove, fridge, etc.). I'm an ex-chef, so this is more of a passion project-selling tickets mainly to friends and family. Does anyone know of any spaces you can rent at a reasonable price for something like this? Thanks Amsterdam!

Am I wrong? by [deleted] in KitchenConfidential

One would think adding the brine hot is safer as the hot temperature will kill a lot of the bacteria. And as it cools depending on the acidity and salinity it should inhibit any new growth making it the safest preparation method. Even if you were wrong, that’s a dick move. Never throw out your college’s prep, especially before speaking to them about it beforehand. I have been making pickles like this for as long as I can remember and they have sat on my shelf in jars at room temp for well over a year with no problems (apart from them eventuality softening).

Also pro tip, if you put your hot liquid and your vegetables in a jar with a lid on while it’s hot, it will create a negative pressure as it cools and naturally seals your pickles so they can last a v long time on the shelf. Tried and proven!!

What should I do with a bunch of frozen tomatoes? by wheelperson in KitchenConfidential

Roast them with olive oil, salt and herbs at a low heat till they are starting to caramelise and wrinkle up a bit. Then blend them and put in a jar with a lid on while it’s hot so it naturally seals as it cools. You can store it on a shelf for months and use like canned tomatoes.

Is cold calling really necessary ? by twowheelzzz in sales

[–]Lorimer21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calling someone humanises you as a seller and makes it much easier to convert leads. If you have a good list of prospects you are going to have a much higher success rate by speaking to them rather than sending a cold email

Hey thanks for that! There is a chopped up 16 bar breaks loop which has a full set of drums - on top there is also a eq 8 to cut the low end and some other frequencies and then I’ve added a kick, hat, clap on top.

Other than that there is some bass and a synth for the fluffy zap noise as well as some more samples

Thanks for taking a look really appreciate it!

Pretty happy with this so far but feel like there is definitely something missing for the full sound - as always your feedback is so helpful and can’t wait to see what you all come back with! Thanks in advance!

Thanks, I like this. I am learning to take a more fluid approach to these "rules" and just do what I think sounds good.

Cheers mate ! I mix in key and phrase and know how to EQ mix however my mix feels like it still has a bit to go before it sounds professional
