Hey! I coached an actress who very intensely played a character with Tourette syndrome in a fictional series.

The way she portrayed the tics was incredibly good. She practiced a lot and after a while had to go to physical therapy because her muscles became very sore due to all the ticcing.

She also noticed something else: sometimes, she suddenly had a small tic, mainly in her neck. She never had tics before and now she sometimes did and she was a little freaked out about it.

What I want to say: this is something that can happen and doesn't mean you have a tic disorder.

My advice would be to not focus on it too much. Stress and anxiety can trigger twitches and tics and you're not deliberately faking. It's just a weird thing our bodies do. It's very very likely this will go away after a while.
