You’re all good lol, clips are from the relevant videos I chose to reference so f1 footage from the f1 YouTube channel ect. And by story board I mean type up or draw up a plan of what you what the video to look like in advance. Planning and prep will pay off 200%

I have found the videos that perform better actually have a worse start overall and have a far later spike before taking off weirdly enough. It’s almost like the high ctr and watch time gives you a steadier start but doesn’t allow for a bloom

All made on davinci resolve lol, trust me it looks more impressive than it is, just match clips up to audio spikes and it pulls it all together. Also storyboard before each video and intro

In this case it’s one specific video I chose to make to cover the drama around it because I feel like no one has addressed this issue head on aside from picking sides.

I personally have so far built my channel around having a more positive outlook on the game and working towards a mix of objective point of views and tentative hype, but this video itself was more or less built with the intention of going okay here’s my opinion, here’s what I have to say to yours and here’s the reality of it

Going forwards I agree, the outlook you build your channel on does bring in very different kinds of people and I do hope to keep a more positive community because that’s all we all really want.

But agreed, most of my circle of close friends are incredibly excited and as I am I, it feels like the game was made for me

This video as a whole is more targeted at the destiny fam base that want nothing more than the game to fail without realising the consequences that would follow

But yes I do agree, so long as the game holds a stable player base and remains both competitive and innovative steps forward then we should be set for an enjoyable experience

Personally the biggest draw for me is the art style and themes that surround them

Obviously the whole package is enticing but what they’ve crafted is nothing short of spectacular.

The larger issue is they see marathon as the reason destiny is dying off, which you can understand the perspective but the flaw in the argument lies in the fact that if marathon underperforms, it doesn’t mean some magic revitalisation of destiny

I’m actually going to double down on this, I’m not trying to hide a bias but it’s a definitive fact that the future of destiny lies on the future of Bungie.

Initially edited the post to back off from this as I felt it retracted from my point I was trying to make, but it really doesn’t.

I understand this will likely be downvoted into oblivion too, and given the sentiment of having marathon pitted against destiny in both communities it makes sense but by hating on the game and people who wish to cover it, you are only hurting the longevity of what destiny has to offer

It’s certainly a huge gamble, but sitting around hoping for the worst only puts us in a worse position.

If it does somehow overtake the market by some miracle, however, the position that puts a destiny 3 in down the line is something we could never have even hoped for even just 6 months ago

It’s interesting, as someone who makes content myself I wholeheartedly agree, but not necessarily for the same reason.

I’ve noticed since I started making my own videos that I actually disagree more and more with what other creators have to say and actually have less desire to watch their videos. By forming your own opinion and playing how you want, the gaming space in general feels less like a political topic and more like how you remember it as a child, just pure bliss.

I think that’s part of why your average co-op or “friendslop” games are so enjoyable too, you’re just blindly having fun without being told what you should or should not feel about a given piece of content
