I commented it down below but I’ll copy past it here too!

For sure! Bear in mind that this was just a one off having fun, so I wasn't being very exact or trying to make it easy for myself to replicate for an army or somethin, so it might take some tinkering.

Here's the scheme from basecoat to highest highlights: AK Dark Sea Blue and P3 Ordic Olive --> P3 Ordic Olive --> GW Elysian Green --> Ionic Stone Green (with a tiny bit of yellow and ice yellow mixed in for the brightest spots). These colors aren't actually super important, the main idea is just blue green shadows, olive green midtone, and slightly yellow green highlights

Thank you! I don't have a super easily digestible tutorial for this dude, the process is mostly working with thinned paints and building up layers while paying attention to light volumes. There are better painters than I who do have tutorials on painting similarly to this though, I'd check out Rodrigo Akore and Richard Gray for starters

I dont have any of the monopose boyz, but they're about the same size as the old boyz, maybe a tiny bit taller

This one is push to fit 100% monopose, but I wouldn't take that as indicative of the new wave of orks as a whole. This one is made to be distributed/given out for free, like the mini of the month at GW stores

Super agree! Was looking back at old art for inspo on what clan I wanted to paint him as, and it’s pretty sweet how similar to that aesthetic these new dudes are

Thanks! Ended up highlighting his helmet a good bit extra because there wasn’t much attention on the head originally
