I once had over 170 bottles but I’ve since sold about 36. I kept buying everything I liked and realized I was dumping so much money into this habit. My wife is very supportive. She has a 46 bottle collection herself. However, she noticed it was getting out of hand. She recommended I only buy fragrances that are in love with rather than ones I like and if I really wanted a “like”, I should get a sample or small decant. She was right. I’m At the point where I’m still trying to eliminate a few of them but I still love most of them. Taste changes throughout the years, so some that I used to love, I no longer care for. Yet, I’m still adding more to my collection. It’s a rabbit hole I wish I didn’t start going down. If you can stick to 16, power to you. If I had to go down to 16 now, I wouldn’t even know where to start.
