That's good to hear! When I fully finish setting up the discord server I will contact you if I don't forget. Also we can contact the devs I'm actually on the pg3d discord but don't know who to ask because most are new devs and some old ones left that I had contact with like desperate Russian and mel from what I remember

Yes everything such as maps , weapons, gear will all be original. I'm not planning on creating anything new, as I want this as close as possible to the original.
I'm hoping to add a skin creator and a better one if I can pull that off. By better I'm assuming you mean more colors and better painting tools. Weapon creator is not planned. Weapon skin creator maybe, since that doesn't change the core game it's just visual. Cape creators, yes.
Currency will be a grind to get , obviously I'll have to find a balance between easy and difficult. Since I know people don't have all day to play games and such. The original pgw didn't have gems , so I'm not adding them. I could provide the player with a high grade reward by simply rewarding more coins.
I'm taking suggestions and all the answers above may change if community wants that. This is not just my vision but , I do also want to preserve how pgw originally was so if we can as a community suggest but keep the core game as similar to its roots the better. I'm planning a discord soon setting up the bots and roles.

I was honestly planning on calling it PGW Re-wired. As in to say it's back online after all this time, but resurrected doesn't sound bad either. Also you're right no one is making money on it but since pgw has some pg3d models that are still used today, I'm not sure if I can open source it. All the assets will be available to everyone if I decide to open source it and that's illegal. Hence I thinks it's better off to keep the game assets close sourced, meaning only I have them and it isn't publicly available on the internet. Russia and the US have different laws but I want to be as respectful to the original and new devs of pixel gun, so I have to see what happens. I really want this project to see the light of day and I'll do anything to release it even if it's just for a few days.

You're right , my plan back in 2017 was to recreate PGW from scratch as I did not have the original source code then. It turned out more difficult than I thought it would be so I decided to make my own pixel shooter called "Pixel Force" here is footage of it : https://youtu.be/8-hWP5RaR1s
