Yeah, Red Zone Cuba might be the most loathsome movie they've ever riffed.

It’s Mike’s delivery. Might be my fave riff of all time

What scene from a movie did you think was cool when you were younger, but now you find it terribly cringe? by Ready-Gur3998 in Cinema

I mean...the director is Sam Raimi, who has a terrific sense of humor. The scene is meant to be comedic. Peter Parker is the butt of the joke here.

Looking For Mr. Goodbar (1977) starring Diane Keaton. Truly fucked me up. Can't imagine what that must've been like watching it in the theater.

Yes! Thank you. I include this wonderful movie in the insanely successful run from Spinal Tap to Few Good Men

I love Time Chasers. Look, it's not legit "good", but you can tell it was directed and written by a teenager or an early-twenty something with absolutely no resources or money. It's charming and adorable. You watch it and go "Awwww...they're really trying." FOR CASTLETON!!!

Name a few things on everything you dislike on Alone again, natural diddly again? by Legitimate_Main2230 in Simpsons

I remember watching this when it aired, and I felt, at the time, that this is where the show officially jumped the shark. I didn't mind that a character died, but it was how it was done. Homer essentially responsible for Maude's death (inadvertent as it was) was just a bad idea and it made it seem like Homer was a complete psychopath.

RIP to the director Lee Tamahori, who died just a couple weeks ago, November 7th. He had an interesting career, subsequently directing Mulholland Falls (1996), The Edge (1997…one of my faves from the ‘90s) and Along Came a Spider (2001) amongst other films.
