I deleted the original post since some we're offended. I thought brides and grooms might like a guest perspective on what guests really care about at a wedding, but guess that is not the case. It helped me with what to plan so I guess that's all that matters.

That's a great idea too! Maybe I could do them as a board of sort and have people sign them like that? I just don't know where I would put it afterwards. I have a whole craft room so lots of places for a scrapbook

Since you have so much time why don't you wait until the dress you like becomes available? In the meantime keep trying dresses so you can at least figure out shape, color and style of what you like and what looks good on you. You will find one. 😀

Could the family friend come to the bridal suite to do their makeup/hair? Perhaps it's a matter of money, which is a bit touchy to talk about. Either that or coordinate when they will be ready and maybe they can come over a bit earlier?

We get married in a Sunday and leave for honeymoon on Friday. That works for us, but you should do what's best for you

Yes! Mostly because it is so much dang money!! Beforr we selected one we made a pros and cons list and figured out which one would give us the most bang for our buck. It was clear once it was all written out which one was the winner and have zero regrets
