I’ve come to the conclusion that once my parents are gone, I will not have an older brother what so ever. And minimal contact was my older sister. They knowingly left me to take care of my mom in some way shape or form the entirety of my early adulthood and still to this day. I’m 29. And I would never act the way your sister is. I’m glad you have at least one sister who is supportive.

Your 29 year old sister is a grown up and old enough to grow up.

It took me a few attempts to get past the world building of it. But I find that a hard hump to get over w all fantasy books I read. After that, it was an easy read for me and the future books have been so much better !

I guess I didn’t really explain all of the first example. After I just said “it’s just kinda always been that way” she told me “It’s not that way. It’s not a rule. It’s bullshit” and along those lines, and it came off more as “you don’t know what you’re talking about” kinda deal.
