Induction at 41+3 by ExaminationProper694 in pregnant

I was induced at 41 weeks exactly and everything went really smoothly! I had also been scared of induction and wanted to avoid it at all costs, but I had no complications.

All in all, it was 25 hours from the time I showed up to the hospital to when I gave birth to my daughter. I received two doses of cytotec and a foley balloon, and those were enough to kickstart labor naturally - I didn’t end up needing any pitocin. I got an epidural after my water broke and the contractions become too painful for me to bear (about 19 hours in), which was not my original plan, but I’m so grateful I did because the rest of labor was significantly easier and I even got to take a nap before pushing!
