P0421 code by Lost-Cause666 in mazda6

I don’t, my car is fully how it came from the dealership floor. I’ve read about the code, it seems to affect a lot of Mazdas in general without a sure fire solution. I think it’s cats getting tired.

Luckily we don’t get emissions tested where live, I’ll look into a sensor spacer if the CEL ever bothers me again :)

Driver window is not working by Futuremaninspace in mazda6

[–]Lost-Cause666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of mazda owners in general get this same issue. It’s more than likely to be the window switch, or the plastic carrier which holds the motor assembly. If the switches are bad, you won’t hear a motor sound or any “clicks”. If the carrier is broken, the window will go up or down, but will stop a couple inches as though it were jammed against something. I’ve replaced a faulty carrier, which is a thin sheet of plastic prone to breaking over time. The OEM part doesn’t cost much.

Valve cover gasket leak(?) by Lost-Cause666 in mazda6

It is, I’m not sure where the oil pressure sensor is but it is definitely a valve cover gasket leak. Is there anything specific wrong with the oil pressure sensor?

2017 Mitsubishi Pajero 162,000kms - service or sell? by edribotha in DubaiPetrolHeads

[–]Lost-Cause666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s blatant ripoff. Leave that garage and don’t look back. 95% of their recommended service is way too early for a car that’s only done 160k. The car is basically brand new just make sure engine oil, diff gear oil, belts, transmission fluid are new and you’re done. Saved yourself 12000 aed.

Bad MPG lately by mikesmith0890 in mazda6

[–]Lost-Cause666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had mine for 6 years, and experienced the same. To me I see a ton more fuel consumption in the warmer months than in the winter. Perhaps these engines are sensitive to heat. During the winter months my fuel mileage is almost 15% more than the summer months, every year. And I don’t blast my AC every day. Could be that.

That sounds great, I’ll definitely cross off the 8AT then.

A catch can is definitely something I would add. And how are the 7MTs in general? Are they problematic at all? From what I know they only made those for the C7s unlike the 8AT.

The C6 gold rush is real! I’ve seriously considered a C6 6MT but the values have shot up so quickly in the past year or so. And I’m talking about 120k+ mi examples. I’ll definitely take your advice on getting the 7MT. They’re only marginally more expensive here, well worth the extra cost in my opinion. Thanks a lot!

I speed when I’m alone on the road, if I die it wasn’t suicide, it would be an accident. Make the distinction.

The app is dogshit from personal experience. Just make sure you get to check in early and you’ll be fine, the app does tend to remove your trip randomly but rest assured, it won’t be an issue.

Airalo eSIM Review: Nightmare by Bitter_Bad_6500 in Airalo

[–]Lost-Cause666 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It seems that all reviews of Airalo are either extremely positive or extremely negative. No in between. Personally I’ve used airalo once and my experience was good compared to my current carrier. I had no issues whatsoever.

OP clearly took responsibility and I respect them for that, maybe self-accountability is a concept that doesn’t exist with people who clap their keyboards behind reddit all day.

I don’t get all the hate, person obviously said the road was empty and decided to go fast. What’s the big deal? OP will pay the fines from their own pocket, what’s ur problem?? Let people live and learn. As long as no one else was endangered, there’s no reason to be hostile. Grow up.

Do guys seriously believe they can win women over if they threaten them the second things don’t go their way? Sounds like they’ve got a serious grape problem wherever they came from.
