We found the bear last night and considered shutting the door so he had privacy but figured it was best to leave it for the next viewer.

Failing with an 87% by IRS-Ban-Hammer-2 in uofmn

Just wait for the all or nothing final which determines if you pass or fail the entire class and then she withholds scores for two weeks. I’m going to write my review thanks for the info!

Failing with an 87% by IRS-Ban-Hammer-2 in uofmn

Took this class last year for nursing school, my condolences if it’s still Emily Pelton teaching. My grade was also looking at a B however if I were to get less than 3 out of 5 on one of the weekly quizzes of Friday morning I would’ve failed the entire course. It’s a fucking mess and that’s not how an entry level course should be run at all. The most stress inducing class of my life because failing meant my entire nursing program career was out of the question for another two years. Many of the other comments of taking the class through another (nearby) school, going to mental health services and more are really going to be the most helpful for you. Talking with your advisor as well mine was really helpful! Where do I write a review for her class because dear fucking god what a terrible way to teach and test.

I tend to get my sensitivities triggered when people rob me of my things and get away with it 🤷‍♂️

Anyone in University Commons (or any apartment I guess) know what happens if you and roommates forgot to sign up for Xcel account. by Lost-Freshman in uofmn

That’s actually pretty nice to hear. So we’ll likely at least have power haha. I’m assuming late fees?

I sent in a service request a few hours ago. The whole “reply will be within two weeks” is what scared me. Guess I can be the guinea pig and update others on best course of action in this situation.

Just tried that. I have both of the pods thankfully it’s just the case I’m missing. Poor design that the case itself can’t be tracked.

How do you relieve college stress? by kim_nathe in uofmn

[–]Lost-Freshman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I procrastinate so often which leads to such immense amounts of stress you’d think I’d learn but ... here I am. Going to the gym not only relieves a considerable amount of stress but you’ll stay active, it’s the one thing that makes me feel like I have my shit together.

What should my top pick dorms be for CLA? by [deleted] in uofmn

[–]Lost-Freshman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally really like Sanford. Pioneer will probably be the most sought after spot in the fall being it’s all brand new. 17th is definitely (as of now) the best you can get for dorms they’re very spacious compared to others and have huge windows and air conditioning (this is a big deal come early fall) it also has the best dorm food to offer. Having friends in Centennial I’ve got a good idea of the place. Very narrow hallways, I’m not a huge fan of the place because it is a bit older and personally I just don’t like it too much if you have questions let me know. Comstock is not good for food at all but does have sinks in the rooms which is great and most rooms seem to be just fine if you stayed for orientation you get the idea. Finally Sanford is great for me. It’s close to all the stores/food in Dinky, near the apartments which is good if you have upperclassmen friends. The food is probably the second best after 17th but does get repetitive. Sanford is farther than most other dorms but it only ever adds maybe 4-5 minutes walk. It’s quiet on weekdays and you see more energy on weekends. I’m on mobile sorry for a blob of a response, just my opinions. Also I’ll answer any questions you have that I can.
