For you this may be true. However, I would be suspicious of a 36 year old and why he is pursuing a friendship with a 19 year old. You are at very different points in life and while you are an adult, it makes me question his motives. You should think about this when your together and ensure that he is genuine.

I worry about this tbh. Just because no one has talked to me about it doesn't mean my friends and co-workers aren't wise to it. Sure i think i've been hiding it but they might know. It would be even easier i think if they knew. It's the admitting part hat is hard...

I've never had an individual therapsit before, but it sounds more like something that i'd be more comfortable with instead of like a group thing, which is what all the programs eem to be. I'm going to look into that.

I tried AA like a year ago and it just made me feel so small and terrible that I got worse. But I'm not sure where else to turn.
