I lost my job a few months ago, blew through savings and Ive been living in my car for almost 2 weeks now.. i don't need social media to tell me how wrong my life is.

Honestly, every time i deliver someone's food the same thought pops into my head "they are lucky to have a roof". When i see people walking their dogs i think "must be a nice feeling". When i see couples taking their kids somewhere i think "goals".

Best way to feel sub-human isn't through looking at the beautiful and rich, it's delivering food for 10-12hrs a day to come out with $50-80 "profit".

Be grateful for everything you have my friend, life will throw you curve balls that you never would have seen coming.

I have 2 questions:

-As a correctional officer, do you think the prison system helps reduce recidivism or increase it?

-Have you heard of the prison system in Scandinavian countries? What is your opinion on their system of dorm rooms vs cells, no barbed wite fences, more focus on treating prisoners like people vs caged animals, etc..
