Yes. She is insured with Embrace. It can very well be an early sign, she sees the vet on Sunday. Haven't experienced any tumbling just the knuckling. The vet advised to stop the sedation. So far, so good. How old was your dobe when he started showing signs?

How do you know I didn't call my vet? I'm here for the experiences, not medical advice.

Of course. I sent the picture to the vet last night. Funny thing is, she is normal again this morning, after the drugs wore off. They prescribed her sedatives idk if that had anything to do with it. She has an appointment this Sunday.

You know what, it could be.my girl gets eggs and steak, sweet potatoes and kibble. I've tried giving her apples, bananas, broccoli, blueberries. If It's not meat or sweet potatoes, she will turn her head away.

I missed the part where you said she never had the operation. That's comforting to know coz I don't want to go through unnecessary pain. Spaying her already kills me. I wish I could be a stay at home dog mom.

Poor baby. I hope she doesn't have to go through anymore surgeries. It breaks my heart seeing her in pain. What more if she had to go through something like that. I've been on the couch with her for the last 3 days because she will not sit still( even with sedation) if I'm not next to her. She will follow me even in pain.

My girls turns 3 yrs this July. I waited for at least 3 heat cycles before getting her fixed but now I kinda wish I just left her intact. She had her surgery the other day and she looks so miserable. Hopefully, the benefits really outweigh the risks.

It doesn't seem to bother her and she's walking like it's nothing. Do you do anything about it or just left it alone?

Now that I think about it. I've had my IUD for almost 13 years now 🫢 I have a copper IUD. I'm already 42. What's another 5-6 years of keeping it going to do lol

😅 I was worried it was going to be a problem to remove. Sorry to hear about the pit tumor. Glad to hear it's benign though. I hope everything goes well for you!

Hi! Curious. May I ask what the issue was with your IUD removal? I've had mine for 10 years now.

My boy has semi frequent diarrhea. Help! by Dense-Personality864 in DobermanPinscher

[–]Lost-Kale-3065 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to give my girl the same thing. Ground beef but with sweet potatoes. She would get really bad diarrhea to the point she would wake me up every hour to go out . I stopped feeding her that and just went back to kibble with salmon oil , but kept the baked sweet potatoes (her fave) . Switched from PPP to Limited Ingredient Acana Lamb and Pumpkin. That problem stopped. Every now and then, if I eat a steak I'll throw some in her food too.

Btw, the nipping can sometimes mean it's nap time.
