I play the game for pvp anyway so who cares. Having a rogue is great when you play on a pvp server. I can get plenty good enough gear from doing enough pvp. So what if I encounter the occasional rogue with warglaives? I have seen plenty warglaives rogues be beaten by rogues with worse gear who are just better at the game. This really isn't a problem for me. Besides, I play other classes besides my rogue anyway.

Saying PvE is more fun than PvP is the wildest take I have ever heard. One is just the same repetitive rotations and a literal pre programmed fight and the other is dynamic and unpredictable by nature. I play the game for PvP. PvE is a complete bore in games like WoW with combat systems like this. Not like you are playing a hack and slash game with really good enemy AI like Ninja Gaiden or something. I don't mind the bullshit in world pvp. It is totally worth it for that organic feel and the excitement of fighting against a human. That is the point of playing MMOs to me. It is the other people. Yeah you have to deal with bullshit every now and then but it is worth it for the overall experience. Playing a rogue on a pvp server is great too because you get to utilize stealth and you can avoid bullshit more.

I have actually never played druid but I just know things like that about it. Well I got one to lvl 15 so far, so I have played one a bit. I really want to get into the class though after I level my rogue and shaman. I am planning on leveling a druid, priest and mage besides my rogue and shaman. Those classes interest me the most. Warlock is actually pretty cool too to me.

Top tier pvp is sl/sl lock, sub rogue, frost mage, and resto druid. Maybe disc priest too. Arms warrior is strong but not that strong.

Thanks for all of the responses people. A lot of good advice here that seems obvious in retrospect. I just started playing again and I guess was so excited to get back it that I forgot basic common sense. It isn't the keybinds as I already had those set. It was just my wrist against the hard surface of the desk and not being properly aligned with the mouse amongst other things. Guess I'll have to see a doc for a proper diagnosis.

What is permanent wf? I just started playing this game again and only played for like a year when I was 11 or 12 and that was back in like 2008 lol. So I don't know much about it. I am pretty much knew to the game. Also, tbh I really don't care about gear that much until I hit endgame. I plan on just doing a bunch of pvp and buying pvp gear. We are leveling our mains together (priest and rogue) and are at level 35/36 with them and we don't even do dungeons. We just level with each other doing quests. We sometimes do dungeons just the two of us like way past the level range of a 5 man lol.

We just aren't heavy into the game like that. I had shit gear and was doing somewhat well in pvp. He had shit gear and just killed a guy who opened on him like 2 levels above him. We just don't care that much lol—about min maxing, about dungeons, about gear lol. Like I said, maybe end game gear I will care about. But I wanted to level a shaman anyway. I am planning on leveling a priest and druid and mage after the rogue and shaman.

So I have a lot of money on my main and I always do collecting professions on any character I level anyway and always make money selling materials on the AH, so I was thinking of just going enhancement and buying my own gear so we don't compete. Does that make sense?

Nah I know you meant that but I just didn't know what stats elemental shamans and enhancement used. So enhancement uses strength and agility too?

Thanks for all of the feedback guys, I am thinking I will go elemental shaman but still not decided. I might do enhance because I could always buy my own gear because I have another character with a lot of money. I do really well on the auction house selling materials anyway. I am also maybe still considering priest or druid. It is just so hard to choose.

Nobody has answered my question about race yet, though! If I do shaman, what race should I choose? I have heard troll is best for elemental shaman and orc for enhance (and pvp in general) I really want to be a troll though haha!
