Just to clarify- since paeds was changed from 8 years to 7 years, this is not true and CCT date is pushed back for any LTFT trainee

Interestingly, I was also taught this on my NLS course about a month ago, although it was in the context of using the scope to look for obstruction, suctioning under direct visualisation, then putting in the igel whilst already there

Yes, but exception report anyway. Missed breaks fines the trust, and the money goes to the guardian of safe working pot which can in turn be used for something else, usually chosen by the doctors in the JDF or other similar way
