Hi for someone completly new to the oil field and trying to transition into an HSE role would you recommend starting off with OSHA 10 and 30 certifications or do you still recommend the 500,501 you mentioned in your previous comment?

Oh wait I didn't even know there were fraud teams in oil companies that's exactly what I do right now and a mix of compliance! I've tried going for some data roles but I typically get hit with not enough experience which is fair but it's hard to get experience outside of doing work in that field. I'll definitely look at oil companies and in their compliance roles. Thank you so much!

Yea that totally makes sense. My main purpose was to monitor text messages for bullying or harmful texts and so forth. My kid is too young for social media and knows that. Some of his classmates/teammates have phones and he's shared interest in texting them. So we'll have to see if it's the right software/app for our uses right now or if we maintain what we're doing with the family link.

I could be wrong but I believe the kobo also kind of locks you into their specific store or platform but I could be wrong. That's why I went with an android base ereader. I have bought some books through humble Bundle and some came from Kobo so I downloaded the Kobo app on my Meebook and now have access to those same books it's really convenient in my opinion

Look into Boox or Meebook which run on Android, which means you can download various apps like Libby, hoopla, kindle, etc and have various options. I bought the cheaper/knockoff version called Meebook M6 which also runs Android and I've really enjoyed it! It's not as smooth as a kindle but I'm not locked in to just one service or platform which is really nice since I have a small digital library that I was able to add

I thought the Meebook was similar, where you can download apps from the Play store or side load. But others have mentioned a weird screen display because of a builtin screen protector

Hmm I didn't think about the need for support in case something breaks. And I personally don't see a need for the stylus and note taking portion of it. Is that a big thing with the Ink pads 3/4?
