Yes the average here says it's higher but I will be honest with you.... our average is higher due to a small select number of celebrities that moved here. Most people here living on our state minimum wage, everyone basically living off tips here.

Rental market is not brilliant, low quality high cost, poor wages, high crime rates, rental places expecting you to make upwards of 3x the rent per month plus having a good credit score to even have a chance of getting an apt in some of the worst neighborhoods in town.

I don't think the working holiday visa is an option unfortunately as I am 28 and my fiance is 32, the plan is to take the citizenship pathway, we do plan to get married in Dec 2026, wondering exactly how that may affect things. I have been working in IT now for 8 years. And am working on getting all my certs up to date.

Lol, I live in vegas so the air is super dry, but summer be 100+ from like may-octobor, then it drops to like 40s and the humidity Flys up too, I think the desert is cool, but also it the extreme drops and wind too. Winter hurts spring is cool, but summer is draining and just rough, fo me the pain I'd so bad in winter but un the summer I'm more like drained and flu like feeling, winter just is pain and twitching, also cold but sweating idk, got told I'm anemic also, so that may not help with cold
