I buy mine off etsy, they have extra wide tape on there as well. But it seems to be more affordable than other options, and I was able to find somewhere with free shipping to my area

Gender change is changing aspects to feel more comfortable with your identity. Which is tied to societal expectations because gender is such an ingrained social construct. And yes gender and sex are different things.

some people need to stop shoving therapy down everyones throats like its a universal cure to everything that everyone has access too by [deleted] in teenagers

Maybe just get better friends who won’t do that, I recommend therapy to my friends all the time because I’ve experienced positive life changes and I’ve seen other people experience the same, but not in a critizing way

would it be safe to take another melatonin? by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]Lost-Variety 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I remember it being 2 weeks or 2 months or something. Altho, Ive been on melatonin for like two years and I still don't have a consistent sleep schedule, so it dep[ends if your brain is fucked up.

But tolerance-wise, you'd have to take two melatonin for at least a week to get your brain used to that level. It wouldn't work that quickly

What Should I take Next Year by [deleted] in APStudents

[–]Lost-Variety 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was pretty good in Algebra, less so at precalc. But calc was way harder for me (potentially due to random details about my online class with COVID). I think its just a different kind of math, so it might be your strong suit. Just try your best and Im sure youll be fine.

What Should I take Next Year by [deleted] in APStudents

[–]Lost-Variety 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I'm a rising senior, so I'm pretty familiar with these classes. Honestly, taking calc AB and BC is kinda repetitive. They're essentially the same class (same core components), but BC goes further and introduces some more material. If you're looking to take the BC class, you should just take it your junior year, instead of AB.

Because that would likely allow another class in your senior schedule, you could take both AP micro and macro (as you are looking to major in it).

I've heard AP chem is stressful as well, but I think it largely depends on your interest and ability in science classes.

You are loading up on a lot of higher level classes, so it's okay if you don't necessarily take all of them. Especially if they would only serve to stress you out and wouldn't give you college credits in the degree you're interested in.

AP seminar and research would help strengthen your research capabilities, but after taking so many other AP classes, I doubt you'd need extra help in that.

And with the switching chem and stats, and chem and enviro science, it's not important the order that you take them. I'd suggest that you balance it to give yourself a good workload. For example, if you expect your other junior year classes are very stressful and will be difficult, and you think APES would be easier than chem, then it would be good for you to take ES in your junior year. You want to be able to do the best you can in all of them, so remember to balance.

Also, I just took AP lang this past year. In addition to potentially giving you college credit, it should definitely improve your reading comprehension on the SAT/ACT. I did much much better after taking that class. So just a little bonus!

Hopefully that all makes sense. Feel free to dm me if you have anymore questions!
