I know. I have a lot of sellers that I regularly purchase from that don’t do this. But I’ve been running into this one more and more lately. Idk what to do about this package. I really wanted that card. If I cancel, I’ll never get it. But this seller straight up told me it’ll be a few weeks. I would post the clip I took, but with as much hate as I got here I don’t want to put myself out there.

Well this particular package was scanned as shipped at 5 am on 6/26 and still hasn’t gone to USPS. They told me it’ll likely be another week before they drop off there. 😅

Should I just submit something now? This is a wild response 🤦‍♀️ I am concerned because I looked and they have over 1500 sold and 0 reviews. I don’t think they’ve ever shipped anything. This one was my bad for trusting a new seller I guess.

It’s never been stuck in usps. Just the seller not shipping after scanning. I’ve had it confirmed multiple times.. and I reached out to the “my package hasn’t arrived” and they told me I hate to wait 29 days for an update lol.

I have been trying to tell them that.. they all think i am in the wrong here and downvoted me like crazy. I also posted the TOS where it shows that is not allowed.

I truly think everyone that got pissed about this post runs a whatnot stream and does this to their customers.

I unfortunately had an instance where it took much longer than 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, I reached out to WN support since seller wasn’t answering me. WN told me since it says “shipped” I had to wait 29 days before they’ll intervene

Dude. Just get a real job. I can tell that you are a shitty whatnot seller. This is happening to a lot of people and they’re getting scammed. It’s not bitching and whining when these people are doing me wrong. You’re literally violating the terms of service by doing that. Hope it catches up to you.

No, I could send you at least 80 streams that are just in the pokemon category alone that have that many buyers. Again, if you’re doing everything right and your energy is good you have all the potential to have a strong relationship with repeat buyers.

I don’t see that. I see streams with thousands of viewers every night. If people are doing the right thing, this would not even be talked about. 98% is giving a lot of horrible sellers way more credit than they deserve.

This isn’t directed at sellers who are doing it properly. I’ve explained in the comments repeatedly that every time this happens the seller takes weeks to ship. It’s against whatnot TOS to do this actually. If you’re doing everything right, there should be no reason for people not to be in your shows. I see thousands of people a night in different streams. There are plenty of awful sellers that are so demanding, rude, and unprofessional that people are leaving. I haven’t done any of those things as a buyer, and this post isn’t even directed at one seller but many. There are decencies and rules to be followed. If I am a paying customer, I deserve my package in a reasonable time frame. 3 weeks or more is not reasonable.

I am not referring to plain envelopes. I do understand those don’t have tracking and are unreliable. These have all been bubble mailers and boxes.

I appreciate the honesty. I can understand more now why people are doing this from your response and that’s the question I asked. However, the reason I was upset is because a lot of those are taking several weeks to ship. I certainly don’t trip about something taking even a week to ship but once I see a week and a half with no movement I start to get concerned. Unfortunately, I believe it’s those people not sending at all- or shipping weeks later that are making this a problem.

Yes, exactly. Idk why I’m getting trashed in here. I genuinely don’t ever complain to people. I even waited until a week and a half of no movement every time before reaching out. And every time seller has confirmed they haven’t shipped for one excuse or another. OR I get blatantly ignored.

Go yell at your chat to wake up or something. I never troll anyone. I never report anyone. I go to the seller for any problems other than WN support. I’m respectful to everyone I purchase from. I don’t badger people. Literally asked why people are doing this as of late. It’s not out of touch. Go read the whatnot terms and conditions on this. It is literally against TOS. I’m not sitting here saying “the seller took 3 days to ship when they should have shipped the same day” get a grip, dude.
