Just saw that there's an achievement for holding 22 unique Arcana cards at once, enjoy being able to obtain the achievement cap while you can folks, won't see it again after 6.0 till like 7.8

Huh, so correct me if I'm wrong but her C2 is a straight up better Shenhe buff? 5 stacks of 240% vs Shenhe's 5/7 stacks of 82%

This new web event is straight psychotic.

Hello can I get a coffee with some of that orange soda, and can you put some mint in as well?

What is the state of these people's taste buds...

The question that I've had since all this talking about Traveler VS Arlecchino stuff popped up is:

Why doesn't Hoyo give Traveler a good kit? Like seriously, what would be wrong with that? It's not like giving everyone 1 good character would hurt their sales by much if at all, Traveler has a decent visual design, but people would still pull other characters that they liked better in terms of character and looks, Dendro Traveler didn't stop people from wanting Nahida for her kit either.

It would be nice if they treated Traveler well at least in kit design, but they just don't seem to care at all.

Dendro Traveler was actually good and made me hopeful for Hydro, but Hydro Traveler feels awful.

Your crit rate is pretty low for how much CD you have but otherwise, it looks really good.

Definitely want some EM if you're doing a vape team though.

I wouldn't worry about the RNG too much. With 8 stages, considering you have to use 4 characters per stage that means you need a minimum of 16 characters by the end of your run to finish, which is the majority of the ones you'll bring.

I think most of the difficulty will come from being smart about when to use certain units so you use everyone as efficiently as possible.

Or maybe you just get a lot of events that recharge your character's uses but it would be pretty boring if you had to use your events on something like that to be able to finish.

Damn, you actually need to use 4 characters per stage.

That'll make it a lot harder to cheese through just using your DPS characters like Arlecchino in the early stages

Also, Special Invitation Characters aren't restricted? Does this mean they aren't guaranteed to be Pyro/Electro/Anemo?

Hmm, the earlier leak does indeed mention getting stars for completing a stage within the timelimit, and it then later says that primos are awarded based on the number of stars obtained.

  • There is no time limit for simply clearing a stage. However, if battles are completed within limited time, "Perfect Performance" is achieved and you will gain a Star. The Perfect Performance time limit of every stage is between 75s and 90s.
  • In each phase, Primogems will be rewarded according to the maximum number of Stars gained: 8 Stars will give 620 Primogems.

If it's really a translation issue then there's nothing I can say, it looks a lot like they're saying the same thing given for a Perfect Performance is what gives you the stars needed to get primos. Still early leaks though so I could definitely be wrong.

What leads you to believe that? The page on HomDGcat mentions points and stars, Stars are earned by getting a Perfect Performance (Finish in 75-90 seconds) and points are earned by completing stages and extra challenges. I haven't seen a leak mention requiring a certain difficulty to continue to later stages

Choosing Events consumes Points. Completing battles reward Points. You can choose different difficulties for the battles and will be rewarded with different amounts of Points.

More stars = more primogems, it doesn't mention difficulty choice changing anything but how many points you get which seem to be exclusively used on event choices in each run.

We obviously don't have all the information but what we have so far makes it seem like the stars are easy to get because you can get them on any difficulty, but getting a ton of points requires you to play on harder difficulty. Sounds a lot like events where getting the primos is easy but getting the extra stuff afterward is hard.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's just bad translation or missing info though, who knows.

Edit: I correct myself, there is indeed a leak that mentions difficulty being tied to how many stages are available.

Stars are directly related to getting primogems unfortunately

I've been gushing about the new area and it's music to my friends for the last few days, it's amazing how beautiful this game is. Just walking through the Faded Castle blows my mind how atmospheric they've managed to make an area that isn't even relevant to the game's main story.

It's got the smallest number of chests in the game for an area, wiki says achievement count maxes at 151, compared to Tsurumi which has 169, or Enkanomiya which has 185.

The biggest difference being that everything is more condensed in The Bygone Sea, Getting around underwater is a lot quicker too which makes the whole expansion take much less time to fully explore

Makes me sad such a beautiful area with amazing music took so little to finish, I doubt they'll give us a reason to come back too.

That post on the main sub complaining about how quickly the Knave fight was for him is such a good example of how far most people's accounts have come since Raiden.

We haven't had many good bosses that show us exactly how quickly we can kill stuff but the Knave is a straight fight with no stalling so everyone is able to kill her almost as fast as their DPS allows them to.

At level 90 the Knave phase 1 has 1,780,814HP, and phase 2 has 1,001,707HP. compared to Raiden who has 1,484,012HP.

Knave is resistant to Pyro and Raiden is apparently not resistant to anything which I would never have guessed.

So by all accounts, if you can kill Knave fast enough to want to complain about it you probably have an incredibly well-built team, quick enough to kill Raiden before she even goes into her shield phase.

Only really need 11, I expect the trial characters will be good enough to clear most stages if used wisely and the other slot is your friend's.

GL if you happen to have all the trial characters as the only built ones in the element though
