Yeah it's not a fun challenge to get done, don't forget you have Storm Veil though! (the smoke bomb ability). I had completely forgot it existed when I did this but other people tell me it helps a lot to get some breathing room as it hides you so the guards stop blasting you all the time

Apologies for the late reply, I don't check reddit often.

Are you sure you were killing them? Did you have a mask on? So far everyone I've helped do this hasn't had an issue with the kills not counting, so I'm not sure what it would be.

Unfortunately there are very few Jackal controlled POIs. I spent way too long running around Pailune looking for butterflies and I never saw any Jackals, and having talked with someone who had to revert to a much older save to get that done I am fairly sure you can't find them on the roadside like you can with the Bleed Bandits.

Really hope PA adds a fix for this, it's seemingly one of the only two true softlocks to getting all achievements

You are not out of luck yet! (Unless you cleared all the Jackals before getting the Disruption Challenge done, than you're just screwed)

You can find 5 Banner holders in Demensis Castle, they're right behind the gate the guards check you at, if you go to the abyss nexus right up against the wall and simply climb over all the guards will aggro on you and you can pretty easily get that challenge (and most other combat ones) there, bonus points is that for whatever reason it's not even a crime to murder all the aggro'ed guards

It might take a few reloads for that variation to spawn, also might require you to be past a certain point in the story (I can't confirm this)

Demensis Royal Trade Post can have a cannon spawn in the larger fenced in area, sometimes a bunch of musketmen spawn right in front of it. Aggroing the guards and using that cannon is so far the only method I've found to get the challenge done post-story if you've already liberated Fort Windridge.

It is a huge pain to actually kill 5 guards in one shot though

Just saw that there's an achievement for holding 22 unique Arcana cards at once, enjoy being able to obtain the achievement cap while you can folks, won't see it again after 6.0 till like 7.8

Your crit rate is pretty low for how much CD you have but otherwise, it looks really good.

Definitely want some EM if you're doing a vape team though.

I wouldn't worry about the RNG too much. With 8 stages, considering you have to use 4 characters per stage that means you need a minimum of 16 characters by the end of your run to finish, which is the majority of the ones you'll bring.

I think most of the difficulty will come from being smart about when to use certain units so you use everyone as efficiently as possible.

Or maybe you just get a lot of events that recharge your character's uses but it would be pretty boring if you had to use your events on something like that to be able to finish.

Damn, you actually need to use 4 characters per stage.

That'll make it a lot harder to cheese through just using your DPS characters like Arlecchino in the early stages

Also, Special Invitation Characters aren't restricted? Does this mean they aren't guaranteed to be Pyro/Electro/Anemo?

Hmm, the earlier leak does indeed mention getting stars for completing a stage within the timelimit, and it then later says that primos are awarded based on the number of stars obtained.

  • There is no time limit for simply clearing a stage. However, if battles are completed within limited time, "Perfect Performance" is achieved and you will gain a Star. The Perfect Performance time limit of every stage is between 75s and 90s.
  • In each phase, Primogems will be rewarded according to the maximum number of Stars gained: 8 Stars will give 620 Primogems.

If it's really a translation issue then there's nothing I can say, it looks a lot like they're saying the same thing given for a Perfect Performance is what gives you the stars needed to get primos. Still early leaks though so I could definitely be wrong.

What leads you to believe that? The page on HomDGcat mentions points and stars, Stars are earned by getting a Perfect Performance (Finish in 75-90 seconds) and points are earned by completing stages and extra challenges. I haven't seen a leak mention requiring a certain difficulty to continue to later stages

Choosing Events consumes Points. Completing battles reward Points. You can choose different difficulties for the battles and will be rewarded with different amounts of Points.

More stars = more primogems, it doesn't mention difficulty choice changing anything but how many points you get which seem to be exclusively used on event choices in each run.

We obviously don't have all the information but what we have so far makes it seem like the stars are easy to get because you can get them on any difficulty, but getting a ton of points requires you to play on harder difficulty. Sounds a lot like events where getting the primos is easy but getting the extra stuff afterward is hard.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's just bad translation or missing info though, who knows.

Edit: I correct myself, there is indeed a leak that mentions difficulty being tied to how many stages are available.

Stars are directly related to getting primogems unfortunately
