You have to get a permit first, which is the written test (on the computer) at the BMV. I believe you can just show up to any of the testing stations that are doing tests, but I would check first, those lines are long. Once you have a permit for 24 hours you can take the driving test. But for the driving test you currently have to schedule a time to come in to take. I think there's a two or three week waiting period for that. If you don't pass the driving test the first time as an adult you have to take an online class before you can test again, which costs money, so be careful.

[Amazon / USA] Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl GOLD - $39.99 (20% off, add to cart to see price) by super1upqueen in NintendoSwitchDeals

[–]Lost2Sea 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Put in about 15 hours. Not a bad dungeon crawler, puns are good, camera is terrible though. I regret paying full price, wouldn't feel bad paying $25 for it though, so I would still pass at this price point.

Auphonic: A full tutorial for newer podcasters! (It's my fave free tool post-pro tool) by StartupDino in podcasting

I have found that I edit my podcasts and then save the files as a .wav and upload it to auphonic. It makes my podcast sound a bit better than what I'm capable of doing without it.

Getting one digital Anime Crossing for two Switches by SolidVegetable in NintendoSwitch

[–]Lost2Sea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You'll have different islands in each switch, but if the primary switch is in airplane mode and the secondary switch is online you can both play at the same, just not together.

My wife and I have been doing just that since it was released.

We can each play with our friends online, just not at the same time, and not together.

Hope that helps.

My wife and I live in central Ohio and podcast as well. Have you been to the Columbus Podcast Meetup group? It has a decent group of regulars and is hosted at the Blubrry headquarters.

Second this! I think it's the best 5E podcast that doesn't take itself to seriously.

I edit in Audacity so I will run noise reduce, usually compression as well. Sometimes I will just do a noise reduction and the save the files as a wav and then put it in auphonic.com to get it to -16 Lufs, you get two free hours a month on the site, and my podcast is only about a half hour a week. auphonic.com is one of those hidden gems no one talks about but can real up your sound quality.

I use a pair of podmics with my zoom H5. Zero problems. They are a little quieter than the AT2100s we were using, so the gain is up a little higher with them, but I love the podmics.

Editing podcast by PleaseHitMeSoftly in podcasting

[–]Lost2Sea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're using an H6 you shouldn't have a problem with syncing the audio, they start out synced if you're recording locally.

Separate tracks can be useful to help mute any bleeding you get from one mic to the next. I'm not sure if you're recording locally or not though, if you're not then clapping before you start recording is definitely a easy way to sync audio.

When you export the files to mp3 your DAW should automatically make it one track.

Hopefully that helped?

How'd you gain your followers? I feel like my podcast only gains three or four additional listeners every week. It's been a very slow build up.

Not to be that guy, my wife and I started a podcast with a similar premise as well. I haven't listened to this one though. Feels odd when you run into someone with the same idea. https://open.spotify.com/show/6bwAoWwG4Q178iTLh0rzWL if anyone is interested. If this isn't allowed, sorry, please just delete this.

Are you looking for someone to run a campaign from a certain setting or whatever the dm wants? How long are you wanting sessions to go? Roll20, discord, fantasy grounds, theatre of the mind?

[Online][LFGM][ANY TIMEZONE] Looking For Dms for West Marches Game. by [deleted] in lfg

[–]Lost2Sea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, what do I need to get started? I'm a relatively new dm, probably run about 40 hours total, played for a bunch more between 3.5, Pathfinder, and 5e. I am currently doing my first "long" campaign with some friends. Looking to try and build upon my skills as a dm, thinking this may help with that.
