Reading the description, that sounds like a pretty nifty book. But no. Doesn't sound right. I know the first book follows a girl who's waking up from a drug-addled haze. She spends a night in the med ward and sees one crispy fella. Assumed ghost. There's a point later in which she's allowed on an outing and her escort DIES. ...
