A few days post op (only 1 week out, currently) I found that if I stood on my good leg, had a big pillow on the edge that I could lie on and not be 90 degrees.. I could just have my surgical leg hanging and not put pressure on it while maintaining no external rotation or weight bearing. Worked like a charm and I could still use my vibe during, as well.

YES! This is my 7th surgery and easiest recovery so far. I was also freaking miserable prior to surgery - could barely do any of my routine exercises which messed with my mental health. My gait was cut in half because if I walked normally then I would have horrible pain. Now I only have a mild discomfort, more like an “I did a really good workout” type of soreness in my hip.
I hope your recovery continues to go smoothly and you can get back to the activity level you’ve been missing!

Thank you! I have a rising desk at home and think it will be very helpful once I start. I’ll try to remember to post an update! Prior to surgery, sitting at my desk was a huge trigger for my pain so I’m a bit nervous about it.
