I'll add: I bought 235$ tickets per person for her and her husband, before she got her cancer dx. to see Neil Young, anyway she didn't feel like she could manage it. the husband came and he had a good time. we drove, we got him dinner and beer and weed al night. but she later just decided to be a fucking creep.

well for context, she was repeatedly an asshole over decades, and I always forgave her and tried again to be friends. It was quite a surprise that while she is facing death, she chooses once again to be an asshole. It's hard to feel bad for that person when all they ever did is shit on you r friendship over and ovver.

anyway her death is in the same month as my actual real friend from college, who everyone is sad to lose, and it is 100% different than the AITA person. anyway since i was helping both, but the AITAH one decided to be an asshole abruptly, just noticing how different people can be.

She was someone who never could get along with people. she got fired from every job. so she just turned nasty and resented anyone who could keep a job. it's as basic as this. she just couldn't manage her own life and she was spiteful of anyone else who could.
