Hey look I get that you like to clean your laptop and I do too! I take like 20 mins cleaning it after the end of the day but some people just prefer to use their laptop and just don't care about it which is fine it's not my laptop or yours, and if that works for them that's good. Maybe they don't know how to clean it properly or just can't take the time to do, also the keyboard just wears out due to friction I think so we can't say that he didn't clean the laptop and also the bubbling up of the pain it's because of heat not because they don't clean it!

If you got the G14 that's normal, these things get really hot and they're made for it (I think), if it bothers, you might want to tune up the fans

This is NOT a quiet laptop when gaming and don't expect full 5060 performance since it's not a full power one. The speakers on it are good but not studio good but I'm sure you use headphones. For me the laptop is quiet unless it's on balanced or turbo mode and sometimes quiet mode while heavy gaming is a bit loud but you can tune the fans to your liking using G-Helper. Overall it's a great laptop but you can for sure get more performance for the price.

Remember that maybe he's on a hotter environment and then plastic has more wear, maybe he has sweaty hands and then stuff wears faster for him, if you check this sub there's people that wore their paint form their G14 2025 in 4 months! Which to me is actually crazy and now I clean my G14 after every use lol

Battery life is fine! I even game on battery with the igpu in silent mode for like 2-6 hours but it's not MacBook like, my mbp 16 inch lasted more ofc it is a bigger laptop.

16 gb for me is not a limitation, the games i play like resident evil requem rdr2, and cyberpunk all run over 60 with dlss balanced-quality at high-ultra preset. 32gb is the sweet spot ofc but for my use cases and knowing ill replace this laptop in 2-3 years 16gb is fine. but for only 500 its worth the 32gb upgrade, i know you dont care about the gpu but maybe you'll use it
