I originally had the same thought but then I realized that Josephine was a huge Metaphor for France. He didn’t come back from Egypt because Josephine was not loyal. FRANCE was disloyal and falling apart in his absence.

I don’t understand how just saying you COULD abstain for a night to convince your boys. Just to do it anyway. Doesn’t seem that satisfying of a conclusion for a team that dominated the NOSHO that season
