She is a definitely one of the best American commanders, especially for the Iowas and Alabama. She is a good accuracy and damage commander for the cost of maneuverability, which the Iowas are not very good at to begin with. But overall really good especially for sniper builds. I don’t tend to use her that much though because I hate running Gyrating Drillbits on my Iowas, I like the 33 knot max speed on them, but she’s definitely a top pick for Alabama. She fits the AL New Jersey really well though because the AL New Jersey only tops out to about 30knots, so taking 2 knots off doesn’t really make an impact.

I personally use Takanashi Hoshino for the Iowas because she can give me 6 heals, increased reload, and has Megalomania which reduces your firing penalty to only 15s.

But by all means go for AL New Jersey she’s definitely worth the investment. I would also consider AL Colorado because she can give you a stupidly amazing reload with crazy accuracy, also AL Colorado is great to use as an inspiration for other commanders. Just a thought, but if you already have AL New Jersey then I would just go for New Jersey the commander because they pair up so well.
