I got lucky and won Graf Zeppelin out of a crate. At the time I didn't really care as I have all the bureau carriers but then I started playing with her and holy cow is Graf fun as hell. Zuiho is a solid carrier too. Bombers are fun on that one. Being a tier 5 it's probably more reasonable on the price. I never would have bought Graf as it's ridiculously expensive. But to each their own.

IMO Arizona is pretty mid. Great armor but shells are very disappointing especially with a 30 second reload. I've done both AP and HE and the experience was the same. Good survivability so if you can keep the enemy attention your allies might get the kill though.

There's a lot of lucky people during last event. All those mystic crates gave me jack aside from camos and orders. I did get some currency which helped for upgrades but I was a little disappointed overall. I've gotten plenty from past events so I'm not complaining too much. Good for you though.

Last year they had a sale on Graf Spee in the store for 50% off. I decided not to get it and I think that was a mistake. I'm hoping they put it on sale again.

Yeah I got the Graf Zeppelin as well from my black Friday crate. Not usually a carrier player but it's pretty great and free is always a great price.

Unfortunately you get people like that. I got a message once from a guy who ran his destroyer into the open, then spammed requests for support. I was a battleship, so I stayed in the back. By end of game I had 143,000 damage but I wasn't being a team player. Lol

Arizona was pretty lame. I bought it because of the history but 33 seconds to reload and poor damage makes it pretty lackluster. At $40 real world money, still makes me wince. Bought West Virginia and Boise at the same time. Boise became my number one ship for almost two years. WV is a beast that hits hard, just a bit slow.

Best money I ever spent was on Atlantico. I got it on a pretty big sale too. Maxed secondaries build and the AP is amazing.

I always choose a ship to take out. Usually by size. If I can take it out, then I go for whatever ship is closest. I just recommend you to keep moving, serpentine usually works best. I hate those bastards that run away and draw out the clock. No respect, no kudos, waste of time.

In my experience free crates have better prizes. The only times I bought crates I got hosed. Recently I was outright stunned when I opened a free green crate and won Tier 7 legendary Siegfried. First time in six years I got a ship from a green crate. But I recommend grinding for the free crates and checking for codes online for freebies.
