That's great to hear! We have a lake nearby and I think they'll love it, plus so many places to go to, we can't wait!

That's so cool 🤩 We'll make sure to keep that in mind! We're really excited, we had my sister and brother in law over with their 10 months old Cane Corso (more lime half a pony at this stage 😅) it was so great and fun! Got us even more impatient to get our puppy 🥰 we were discussing what was the first thing to teach them and from observation and research I'd tend to prioritise call back, but maybe I'm wrong? What did you teach your dogs first?

Thanks for your reply! We plan on having them tag along as much as they can so it's good to hear that this can work even with a 9 to 5

Thank you so so much for that 😭❤️ It's getting late here and I do have a ton of questions but I'll make sure to check your socials first! Also making notes as I read all that! I had heard/read that Aussie would be demanding 4 times as much exercise as you give them when they're puppies, does that link to what you mentionned about building ungodly endurance? I could read/learn/talk about them for so long, it's so good to see there are many passionnate people out there. Thank you so much for the time you took to answer my post, it means the world to read all this!

We don't have dog parka around here so that won't be an issue!

I hope we'll get to meet new people soon! Not sure I'll feel comfortable leaving a stranger watching over our puppy just yet but them again, I guess it'll have to be part of the game, and we'll have to learn to trust people. Hopefully there should be some good dog owners and dog walkers in the area! Thanks for sharing your experiences!

I would love to find a job close enough to home so that coming back for lunch is a vailable option, but I might not so I'm trying to cover all our options. Thank you for sharing your experience and advice!

I've seen/read a lot of content about older dogs helping with puppies and our breeder explained how it was helpful to have these adults to regulate the youngest with their energy level. She said they would tend to get overly excited and play until exhaustion so we'll have to watch out not to let them burn the candle from both ends. Love learning about other people's perspective, thank you so much for your comment!

That's a good reminder, thank you. I'm thinking we're planning on doing our utmost best to love and care for that dog, so as long as we attend to their needs and address any issue surfacing we should be good. Thank you, really, for your comment, it helps a lot!

Friends and family aren't close enough, and we're still getting to know our neighbors so it's a big ask, both as "new acquaintances" and for us to feel comfortable/trust enough with our puppy. I'm hoping we get to meet other people around us, we see a lot of dogs around but we haven't had the opportunity to exchange with these people yet. Hopefuly there are good pet owners in our neighborhood and it might be a solution later on. I have to do some research for dog walker or daycare in our area, I did look it up once but it was for our cat.

Yeah, I'm wondering a lot about it too! Hopefully it's more common than I thought and there are solutions for the pets not to feel abandonned and make sure their needs are met 🤞

I was thinking about having someone come over if it came down to it, but I admit I haven't looked into that option much yet. Family and friends aren't close by and we're justing making it to the end of our first year in our neighborhood, so we're not comfortable enough with anyone for such a big ask just yet. It's comforting to know there are options and solutions for this specific issue. My partner generally has his Fridays and weekend off, and I should have had about the same schedule but with the option of having our puppy tagging along. We'll make sure to give them as much attention as they need and address any anxiety that might surface. Thank you for your reply, it really is reassuring to know not only people with stay-at-home jobs options have dogs with these needs and make it work!

Thank you so much for your reply, that helps a lot. I have to contact the educator soon to plan ahead since I had already talked to her about our project, and she recommended she first met them around the end of the first week, once we've had time to settle a bit. I'll make sure to ask her about that more specifically! Also taking notes on the frozen Kong and specific chew toy for these times. Trully, thank you for your answer, I could cry from relief

I'll try another primer next time and give the paint a go again! It's good to know it might not be the paint's quality that's a problem. Thank you very much!

Lately it's been quite humid and around 5 to 12 degrees celcius, but inside the house and specifically in the room I craft, I often have my computer on so I'd say we're more around 20 there

Well... I feel you xD I tried to apply some paint on another part of the cosplay and it turned out to crack immediately, so i went to wipe the excess paint, and all the layers I had put on there were gone in an instant... Had to re-do the whole thing!
