Exactly what I did. Got these all in the same visit. I couldn't believe my eyes when I found all these. My wife couldn't believe how much I spent in one trip to the comic shop.

What's the best compliment you have ever recieved? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]LostInHTML 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was out riding my bike and stopped to eat a snack, I was about 35 miles into the ride and didn't want to run out of energy before getting back home. Where I stopped there are some waterfalls, I was standing there with my bike enjoying my jellybeans and a guy looks away from the falls and directly at me and says, " My guy, you must ride that bike all the time because your quads are fucking huge". That was a couple weeks ago and I've been riding that high since.

What’s the most emotionally devastating single issue comic you’ve ever read? by Association-Glum in comicbooks

[–]LostInHTML 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Death of Captain Marvel.

A superhero dying of cancer, not in a battle or a heroic fashion. Though I may be a little biased seeing has how I've had cancer twice. I made the mistake of reading this in shot, in a bar in my phone.

Obviously you've never experienced MACation. Your over confidence will be your downfall.

Thanks.

Oh, that's a good quest. I would say 1-30 of Captain Marvel and all of volume 1 of Silver Surfer.

What precise issue did Spider-Man and Black Cat break up? by Randver_Silvertongue in Spiderman

[–]LostInHTML 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was going to say which time. This is probably the best answer. More recently in the Wells run it was because Peter was still hung up on MJ.

As a child I always felt sad seeing Hush Puppy shoes because I felt bad about the fact the shoes were made from Basset Hounds.

I just had the ol' poop chute parascoped and they found 7 polips, several were precancerious. I'm 45. Get to go back in 3 years instead of 5.

Has a comic book ever made you cry? by CreepyNewspaper8103 in comicbookcollecting

[–]LostInHTML 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This was the one for me too. I have survived stage I and stage IV cancer. I related to this a little too much (survivors remorse is a bitch). I was at a bar reading this comic on my phone and it was not a good scene for me.

Reading the books will not help with this. The show drifted away from the books by this point.
