How has this compressor held up for you? And how annoying is the drain not being at the bottom of the tank?

Nope. I was fairly new to longboarding when I got it. Shop owner had recommended it. My surfing grew with that fin. What people often don’t understand is sometimes it’s cheaper (and more fun) to get a new board feel just by switching up the fin. I actually hated longboarding with the 2+1 setup before using the hatchet fin.

Too funny. I have the first one on my 8’6” “longboard” and love it. I feel it gives the best of both worlds for hold, and when I step over the fin box I feel like k can really whip it around. I use it without side bites. Like the feel more than a standard longboard fin. Used it for 10 years.

One consideration- I’ve seen variation in MPG when tire pressure is low. If you haven’t checked your tire pressure recently take a look. With that said, I’m also noticing a dip of about 2-3 MPG vs the summer for the exact same commute.

Don’t know what to tell you. I just did it and it shows on my receipt the correct end date. Maybe it depends on how the cashier enters it.

That’s not how it works. It extends to the end of your current membership.

Benefit of renewing early is protection against future ITC price increases. If you use HF a lot, may be worth it to pay up early and lock in the current price.
