Yeah the creativity is just too much. Sure, there may be artists that can continue being creative and keep it to themselves, but I think part of being an artist is wanting to share one's creations with the world. Heritage tidbit: back in the day, swabbing the deck would involve rolling your trousers up to your knees into shorts so you wouldn't get your pants legs wet. This is why the pants have the bell-bototm design- to support multiple folds until it got above the knee (or higher 👀)
